January 2021 we find that restrictions are still in place however we continue with our amended procedures already in place.
For families that already attend the setting - the procedures and policy can be accessed via your child's Tapestry Account (There is also a link to tapestry in our Links page)
An overview of the updated operational changes that continue to be in place are as follows
Parents/carers not being permitted to enter the setting
Parents requested to wear face coverings at drop off and collection times
Staff to wear face sheilds at drop off and collection times
Online home learning activities via Tapestry Online Learning Journals
Electronic Care Diary
Online video content from staff for all families
Social Distancing between staff and parents
Holiday Club for Older Children (Primary School age 4+) and those that do not normally attend rainbow has been suspended
These changes along with others are in place to keep the children, staff and rainbow families safe and will remain in place until the government guidance states otherwise
We do monitor the guidance provided and update all changes as and when they occur (which can be often)
Information for Parents that are looking for childcare and are new to Rainbow Nursery.
Currently during the restrictions we are unable to offer the usual visits and show arounds during the day, however we have limited slots available for short face to face vists after the children have left the setting (or are in an alternative room). This is a oportuity to see the room, meet some of the staff and to collect any paperwork. If you would like to arrange a visit, please click on the link below to request a slot
We are also able to enrol families on to a limited form of our Tapestry account so that you can see what the nursery is all about with videos and activities.
We would ask that any prospective parents explore the website for an overview, you can request a brochure from the contact page or you can follow this link to our online application:
