Home Learning

Although there are no requirements for work to be done at home during any period of isolation, we understand that parents may need some activities to keep their little ones entertained. Unlike schools we do not have specific work packs to provide for the children but there are a number of online activities that can be accessed. Links can be found below.

If you are accessing on line materials, we strongly advise to support your child with this and access them when you are able to participate alongside your child.

Alternatively below are some down-loadable colouring sheets and resources that can be played with at home.

Construction and turn taking activities is a great way to support co-operative play. Sharing stories and baking activities are also a fun to share with your child. Play dough is another great way of learning for the children.

Flower Festival

The children (and staff!) had a great time with our theme last year which was Toy Story.

All the children had a hand in making the display and we think that they did an amazing job!

This years flower festival will be Fairy themed! It is now up and ready for display in the church. The photo's do not do it justice as it is amazing in to see in person. The display will be available to see up to May 6th so please go and show your support.

All the children took part in making parts for the display. Babies made the butterfly's, Toddlers made the flowers and pre-school made the peg fairies and toad stools.

There are some lovely shape themed displays to see but we think our's is the best!

All the children will be getting their World Book Token over the next few days. If you do buy a new book with your token - it would be great to see a photo on their Tapestry Learning Journal.

30hour Funding Codes

Please can all parents accessing the 30hrs entitlement for funding ensure that they log into their account every 3 months to re-validiate the information - Failure to do so may result in the funding being stopped and any additional hours over the universal funding will be charged at normal nursery rates.

Please can we remind all parents to name ALL their children's belongings including shoes, wellie boots, uniform, spare clothes, coats, hats, gloves and lunch boxes

We have a company called My Name Tags that is able to print and post iron on or stick on name tags to you and they also provide commission to the nursery so you are both naming the items and supporting fundraising for the nursery!

Please visit https://www.mynametags.com and use our school ID 7302
